Appeal from Wukari University Teaching Hospital to the Nigerian government for initial funding
Professor Daniel Zanyu Egah, the Acting Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the newly established Wukari University Teaching Hospital in Taraba State, has urged the federal government to promptly allocate a takeoff grant for the hospital.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday in the state, Professor Egah stressed the vital role of federal assistance in maintaining the hospital's operations.
He underscored the potential of the hospital in delivering high-quality healthcare services to the people of Taraba State and surrounding areas if adequately supported by the federal government.
In addition to acknowledging Governor Agbu Kefas' contribution to the hospital, the Acting CMD appealed for financial support from the federal government to ensure the institution's sustainability.
