Disturbing Video Emerges: Female Student Assaults Peer

At Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere, a distressing video has been circulating online, showing a female student attacking a peer with a stick.

In the viral footage, the assailant can be seen ignoring the victim’s pleas while brandishing the stick.

According to witnesses, the incident took place on a Sunday, with the victim identified as Ajayi Precious Gloria and the attacker described as a “very popular” Mass Communication student.

While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, the video highlights the lack of intervention from bystanders.

This incident is reminiscent of previous bullying cases, such as a widely shared video from April involving a student at Lead British International School in Abuja.

In response to these troubling events, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has called for a public inquiry into school bullying.
