Professor Godwin Emezue, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) at Abia State University, Uturu, expressed gratitude to God for ensuring his survival during his time in the kidnappers' den.
During a thanksgiving event organized by the Umuahia South branch of Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International, in collaboration with the office of the Chief of Staff at the Abia State government house, Emezue shared that his eleven days in captivity was a harrowing ordeal he would rather forget.
Emezue recounted how the kidnappers repeatedly threatened to end his life if their demands were not met, but he held onto his belief in God's ability to rescue him throughout the ordeal.
