Enugu to host NNL Super Eight playoff

NewsNow has reported that the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff will be hosted in Enugu.

On Monday, the NNL chairman, George Aluo, revealed this information.

Aluo mentioned that the Enugu State Government has committed to providing all necessary logistics for a successful competition.

Expressing his satisfaction, Aluo stated, “I’m pleased to announce that the Enugu State Government has agreed to host the Super 8, the hub of Nigerian football.”

He went on to say, “We appreciate the Governor and the Commissioner of Sports of Enugu State for this generous offer. They assure all participating teams of the renowned hospitality of the Coal City. The governor has also pledged to ensure seamless logistics for a trouble-free championship.”

The Super 8 tournament is held annually at the conclusion of the league to determine the ultimate champion of the second-tier league and the teams earning promotion to the top division.

Among the teams that have already secured a spot in the championship are Nasarawa Utd, Sporting Supreme of Abuja, and Sokoto Utd.
