Nigerian singer Wizkid, who has won a Grammy, confidently stated that even if he were to step back from the music scene now, his counterpart Davido would not reach his level.
This declaration came amid a fiery exchange between Wizkid and Davido on X platform on Monday evening.
Referring to Davido as his “boy,” Wizkid pointed out that the head of DMW is essentially an influencer who dabbles in songwriting.
His exact words were, “I have nothing to say to you, my boy! Even if I were to retire today, you still wouldn’t measure up to my standard. You’re merely an influencer trying to be a songwriter. Best wishes to you.”
