Gary Neville: Recommendations for Chelsea’s Potential Signings in Upcoming Season

Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville, has suggested three key signings that Chelsea should consider making to strengthen their squad for the next season’s title race.

Chelsea currently sits in 9th place in the Premier League standings, having accumulated 48 points from 33 matches played.

The Blues are set to end the current season without lifting any silverware, after facing defeats in the EFL Cup final against Liverpool and the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

During one of his podcast sessions, Neville emphasized that Chelsea should prioritize acquiring a new striker, a center-back to succeed Thiago Silva, and a goalkeeper to bolster their chances of challenging for the league title next season.

In his comments referenced by The Chelsea Chronicle, Neville stated:

“In order to make a significant impact, Chelsea needs to address the striker, center-back, and goalkeeper positions right from the beginning of the upcoming season. Additionally, they must navigate the potential setback caused by the loss of players like James and Chilwell on a regular basis.”
