FRSC apprehends a driver for allegedly attempting to harm an officer
For reportedly trying to hit a Federal Road Safety Corps officer after being apprehended for flouting traffic regulations, the Edo State Command of the FRSC arrested a driver known as Lucky Omomeyen.
According to reports by NewsNow, Paul Okpe, the State Sector Commander of the FRSC, revealed this information to journalists in Benin City.
The incident occurred on April 19, 2024, and the driver was apprehended six days later for his actions.
When signalled to stop by the patrol team, the driver, behind the wheels of a Toyota Camry, instead made a dangerous maneuver towards the officer.
To avoid being hit by the vehicle, the officer had to leap and cling onto the Toyota Camry.
