Samklef, the controversial producer-turned-blogger, recently shared the reason behind his decision not to ask singer Simi out, despite harboring feelings for her back when they were both struggling artists.
During a moment when Simi had just broken up with one of her ex-boyfriends, Samklef considered making a move but ultimately refrained from doing so. He cited his desire to maintain a boundary between his personal life and professional ventures as the primary factor in his choice.
Expressing his admiration for Simi, Samklef took to his X handle to disclose the situation, mentioning, “I [love emoji] Simi. I almost asked her out o! When she broke up with her ex, Lekan for experience that year. But I had to keep it professional, make e for no spoil business…Adekunle help me greet your wife for me. Life is not that deep.”
In a separate post, Samklef alleged that despite his efforts to support Simi, he was mistreated by her family.
He penned, “But Simi’s family show me pepper sha. After everything I do for her…I don forgive dem. That him over sabi brother where him dey self?”
Simi has since tied the knot with her colleague, Adekunle Gold, and the couple is now parents to a daughter named Adejare.
