Nigerian Photographer Recovers from COVID-19 and Discharged from Isolation (Video)

Seun O, the Nigerian photographer, has been discharged from the Yaba Isolation Center after recovering from COVID-19. He tested positive for the virus days after attending the 7th edition of the AMVCA upon returning from the UK.   In an Instagram post, he expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him and offered messages of encouragement during his time at the isolation center.   He also urged everyone to stay at home, practice social distancing, and maintain good personal hygiene.   The elephant has left the building. #covid19defeated Firstly all glory belongs to God. Tiger at a zoo in New York City tests positive for Coronavirus

The recent news about a tiger at the Bronx Zoo testing positive for COVID-19 has raised concerns about the spread of the virus to animals. The 4-year-old Malayan tiger named Nadia is believed to be the first known case of an animal contracting the virus in the U.S. or anywhere in the world. The tiger was exposed to the virus by a zoo worker who was not showing symptoms at the time. 140 Lebanese citizens evacuated from Nigeria due to Coronavirus outbreak

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, the Lebanese government facilitated the evacuation of 140 Lebanese nationals through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.   After undergoing several screenings, the individuals were airlifted by Middle East Airlines (MEA) from the Lagos airport. The flight, operated under a humanitarian arrangement, departed the country on the evening of Sunday, April 5.   Additionally, 37 Egyptians were also evacuated today from the country via the Sam Mbakwe International Airport.

Salihu Umar, an employee of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, who took to Twitter to share his positive COVID-19 diagnosis, has provided an update.   On March 23rd, Umar revealed his positive test and his intention to seek treatment. His decision to openly acknowledge his infection was widely praised by Nigerians.   After nearly two weeks of treatment, Umar announced a favorable update.
