Reports indicate that the Anambra State Police Command successfully repelled an armed attack near the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, located in the Ihiala local government area of the state. According to sources, the gunmen had been active for two consecutive nights, instilling fear amongst the local residents and prompting many to consider relocating. Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, mentioned that the assailants fired multiple shots in the vicinity of the university campus in Uli.
