Yesterday, Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma, the Archbishop of the Enugu Province and Bishop of Enugu Anglican Diocese, announced that the Province would not close any of its branches due to the Coronavirus pandemic.   He justified his decision by stating that shutting the church at this time would give the devil an opportunity to harm the people and the country, according to Sun News.   Chukwuma criticized the government's order to close churches and places of worship, arguing that it was unjust to equate them with drinking parlors, nightclubs, markets, and companies.   He emphasized that he would not shut the churches as he does not own them; they belong to Jesus Christ.
