Nigerian woman tragically passes away while breastfeeding her 3-week old baby after 8-year wait for a child

Following years of prayer and fasting, a father took to Twitter 3 weeks ago to express gratitude for his child. Tragically, he has now revealed the heartbreaking news of his wife’s passing while she was breastfeeding their child.

@maxifish and his wife NK Ude endured a 4-year wait before their first child arrived. They then faced an additional 8-year wait before welcoming their second child in March.

On March 17, @maxifish shared on Twitter: “We had Natachi 8 yrs ago…had to wait 4yrs before she came…she was worth the wait. Since then we had prayed, cried & fasted for another. Today, 17th Mar(St. Patrick’s day), Chetachi was born. Cheta, Nata, Chweety & I are doing fine. Thank you Jesus!!!! Ever faithful God!!!”

Unfortunately, he took to Twitter this morning to reveal that his wife passed away on April 5.

In his tweet, he shared: “So…it’s been about 3 weeks since Cheta was born…what a glorious Tuesday it was…unfortunately, she lost her mom…my Wife…I lost my Chweety @sabnk…she slumped and died while breastfeeding her yesterday…please say a prayer for her soul.”
