The Debate on 5G and the Antichrist: Response from Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo

Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, the founder and Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, has advised Christians worldwide to steer clear of theories claiming that 5G is linked to the Antichrist.

Admitting that he is not a scientist but a Pastor, the KICC founder pointed out that whenever there is a major global event, the church tends to interpret it as the work of the Antichrist. He cited historical examples such as Napoleon, Benito Mussolini, and Hitler, whom the church also speculated to be the Antichrist.

In a subtle jab at Pastor Chris, he expressed his disappointment in the latter for presenting a graph linking 5G, Coronavirus, and the Antichrist. He urged everyone to stay indoors during the lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Pastor Ashimolowo affirmed his belief in the coming of the Antichrist and anticipated some “pranks,” but emphasized that the current global challenges are not indicative of the Antichrist’s influence. He concluded by referring to the pandemic as described in Matthew 24:8 by Jesus.

Notably, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, in a recent live TV program, asserted that the pandemic was engineered to promote the 5G network, which is gaining global attention.

He further suggested that these actions are part of the Antichrist’s plan for a new world order, encompassing a one-world government, religion, and economy. Pastor Chris supported his claim with references to Revelation Chapter 13.
