Authorities Take Action After Patients’ Death: DSS Closes Clinic in Jos Community
In Jos North local government area of Plateau State, the Al-Ihsan clinic in Ungwan Rogo community has been sealed off by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Following reports of a patient's death after receiving treatment at the clinic and suspicions of quackery, the secret police took action on Sunday, as reported by Daily Trust.
Last week, a woman passed away in the clinic post a surgery allegedly carried out by Mr. Lukuma Abdul. The incident triggered public outcry, with many questioning his medical expertise and linking the death to the surgery.
Mr. Abdul refuted the claims, stating that the surgery he performed did not cause the patient's death.
