Delivery of Anthrax Vaccines by Nigerian Government to Taraba
Hundreds of doses of anthrax vaccines have been delivered to the Taraba State government by the federal government.
Upon receiving the vaccines in Jalingo on Monday, Professor Nicholas Namessan Oliver, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, expressed that the vaccines would aid the state government in its efforts to combat the spread of anthrax.
The Agriculture and Food Security department accepted the vaccines on behalf of the Taraba State government.
In appreciation of the federal government, the commissioner announced plans to distribute the vaccines to livestock farmers across all sixteen local government councils in the state, including the two special development areas.
