Real Madrid urged by Mbappe to consider Portuguese midfielder as Modric’s successor

As Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid draws closer, the talented French player has reportedly provided his input on the club’s future plans, recommending the signing of Vitinha, a midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain and Portugal, as a potential replacement for the departing Luka Modric.

With Mbappe set to leave PSG upon the end of his contract, all eyes are on the Bernabeu as Modric’s future with the club remains uncertain, nearing the end of his long-standing tenure with Los Blancos.

According to reports from Fichajes, Mbappe has specifically highlighted Vitinha as a candidate for Real Madrid, pointing to the 24-year-old’s impressive performance this season with nine goals and five assists in 43 appearances across different competitions.

As Modric’s exit looms, Vitinha emerges as an exciting prospect for Real Madrid, displaying versatility and establishing a growing connection with Mbappe, which could ensure a smooth transition for the club into the post-Modric era.

Modric originally joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
