Court grants Ganduje’s request to summon APC ward leaders through village head
An application by the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, for substituted service on APC Ganduje Ward executive members who suspended him from the party has been approved by a Federal High Court.
On Tuesday, Justice Abdullahi Muhammad Liman granted the application made by Ganduje’s legal representative, Hadiza Nasiru Ahmad.
In April, the ward executives, led by Haladu Gwanjo and eight others, suspended Ganduje from the party for alleged infractions.
An interim order was issued by the Federal High Court on April 18, directing parties to maintain the status quo pending the hearing and determination of the fundamental rights enforcement suit initiated by Ganduje against his suspension.
