Man Arrested in Delta for Counterfeiting Alcoholic Drinks

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, announced the arrest of a middle-aged man named Chiemenam Adigwe for possession of more than a hundred bottles of fake alcoholic beverages. The arrest was made by operatives led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at Bomadi Division. During a press briefing today, CP Olufemi revealed that the arrest took place on April 25, 2024, at around 11:00 hours. The suspect was apprehended on suspicion of tampering with popular alcohol brands like Gordons, Chelsea, Eagle Schnapps, and McDowell’s.
