The 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland Nomination Letter from Olakulehin Received by Oyo Govt

Confirmation has been made by the Oyo State government regarding the reception of a nomination letter proposing Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, the incumbent Balogun of Ibadanland, as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.

This disclosure was conveyed by the state government in a conversation with NewsNow on Wednesday.

Reports from NewsNow have disclosed that the Olubadan-in-Council, comprising of High Chiefs in Ibadan, has designated Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Originating from the Okugbaja lineage in the Ita Baale area within the Ibadan North East local government, Olakulehin was appointed last Friday during a session overseen by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland and a former state governor, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.

The state government verified the reception of Olakulehin’s nomination letter on Wednesday.

Olayiwola, during a phone call with NewsNow, mentioned that the nomination letter for Olakulehin had been delivered from the Ibadan South East local government.

He confirmed, “You want me to verify it? Absolutely. I can confirm that we have in our possession his nomination letter.

“The letter came from Ibadan South East local government.

“We are presently reviewing the contents of the letter. After our review, it will then be forwarded to the governor. However, I can assure you that we have received the letter and are in the process of reviewing it”.
