Rangers’ Isaac Saviour Delights in Victory over Abia Warriors

Following the oriental derby triumph of Rangers against Abia Warriors, midfielder Isaac Saviour couldn’t contain his joy, especially after finding the back of the net.

It was Saviour who broke the deadlock for the Flying Antelopes in their 3-2 victory at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Tuesday.

Joining him on the scoresheet were Kazeem Ogunleye and Chidozie Okorie for Rangers.

Looking ahead, Saviour expressed his determination to continue delivering stellar performances for the team in the forthcoming matches.

Having now scored three goals in the current campaign, Saviour shared his sentiments with the club’s media, stating, “I feel a great sense of excitement.”

“Having been sidelined due to injury for a while, I was eager to make an instant impact in the team when I got the opportunity to start a game and scored against Katsina,” Saviour added.

Reflecting on his recent goals, he said, “Scoring against Abia Warriors after my goal in Katsina has been fulfilling, and I aspire to maintain this momentum.”

Thrilled with being named the man of the match, Saviour looks forward to more such accolades in the future.

Next up for Saviour and Rangers is a clash against Rivers United in their upcoming league fixture this weekend.
