Abia local government chairman slumps and dies during meeting

The Transition Committee Chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia state, Onyekachi Okoro, tragically passed away after collapsing during a meeting in Umuahia on January 9th. He was swiftly taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Umuahia where he was pronounced dead. The cause of his sudden demise is believed to be a cardiac arrest, although the doctors have not yet officially confirmed this. Gunmen attack Catholic Seminary school in Kaduna, abducts 4 seminarians

An incident of abducting four seminarians from the Catholic Good Shepherd Major Seminary in Kakau, along the Kaduna-Abuja Road, has been reported. The Registrar of the school, Rev. Fr.
