Oprah Winfrey denies advising Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to take a step back from their royal roles

Oprah Winfrey has refuted any involvement in advising Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their decision to step back from their royal roles.

A report by Page Six suggested that Oprah Winfrey had offered guidance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex regarding their departure from the British monarchy.

However, Winfrey has since denied any association with Harry and Meghan’s surprising announcement. She stated to ET, “Meghan and Harry do not need my help in figuring out what’s best for them. I care about them both and support whatever decisions they make for their family.”

It is known that Oprah Winfrey maintains a close relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, having attended their wedding and collaborated with Harry on an upcoming mental health series for Apple TV+.
