Engineering student hailed for creating manual ventilator in 2 days in Kaduna (video)

Amid the coronavirus lockdown, the US mayor of a small town in Illinois sent police officers to disperse parties on Sunday and was shocked to learn that his own wife was among the attendees at one of the gatherings.    Alton Mayor Brant Walker, in his plea for people to stay at home, stated, "These are very serious times and I’m begging you to please stay at home. Good news for Bauchi as governor’s abducted brother is released

The brother of Governor Bala Mohammed, Adamu Mohammed, has regained freedom after being kidnapped by unknown gunmen on March 25.   Adamu was taken from a local shop by the gunmen without any intervention.   Chief of Staff to the Bauchi governor, Ladan Salihu, verified the news, sharing a video of Mr. Mohammed reuniting with his family on Tuesday evening.   He expressed his relief in a message saying:   Gratitude to God. The Kidnapped Brother of Bauchi Governor Has Been Released

The abducted brother of Governor Bala Mohammed, Adamu Mohammed, who was taken by unknown gunmen on March 25, has been freed.    Adamu was kidnapped at a local shop by the gunmen who were able to carry out the act without being halted.    Confirming the news, Chief of Staff to the Bauchi governor, Ladan Salihu, shared a video of Mr Mohammed's reunion with his family on Tuesday evening.   He stated;    "Thanks be to God. The Representative of Bauchi, elder brother to Governor Bala Mohammed released by kidnappers... moments ago in Bauchi. Hausa: May Allah save us from Adamu This Mohammed from hannon those who have been kidnapped by him." Alhamdulillah

Departing from China, the medical kits donated by a Chinese firm in Nigeria to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic are currently en-route to Nigeria.   Last week, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, announced the procurement of medical equipment by a Chinese firm in Nigeria for Nigeria while mentioning that a special air cargo would be dispatched from Nigeria to China to collect the aids along with medical personnel.   Despite some opposition from Nigerians, expressing concerns based on the origin of the pandemic, the Federal government has accepted the medical kit gifts, and the shipment is currently on its way to Nigeria aboard an Airpeace flight.
