Tragic Incident in Kaduna: 3 Killed and 7 Kidnapped by Bandits

On a fateful day in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, a sorrowful event unfolded as bandits carried out assaults that resulted in the loss of three lives.

Residents reported that the first attack took place near Anguwar Tanko Dogon Sarki settlement under the Kakangi constituency of Birnin Gwari LGA at 9:00 am, claiming the lives of two individuals.

Later the same day, the bandits struck again at Rafin Gora village, which is situated two kilometers from the Dogon Dawa area, where they took the life of another villager and kidnapped seven others.

An anonymous source from the Birnin Gwari Progressive Emirates Union verified the attack at Anguwar Tanko Dogon Sarki and also revealed that villagers were abducted at Tashar Keji village within the same constituency.

Yahaya Musa Dan Salio, the representative of Kakangi Ward in the State Assembly, confirmed the distressing incident at Rafin Gora village but mentioned that he was still awaiting comprehensive information on the other occurrences.

Unfortunately, despite efforts to obtain details, calls to the state police command’s spokesperson, ASP Mansur Hassan, went unanswered at the time of compiling this report.
