Acting National Chairman, Damagum, Receives Vote of Confidence from PDP NWC

Umar Iliya Damagum, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been given a vote of confidence by the National Working Committee, NWC.

In a press release on Wednesday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, announced that the NWC expressed its confidence in Damagum following its 584th meeting at the party’s National Secretariat on Tuesday.

The decision was made to acknowledge and appreciate Damagum’s efforts and dedication to stabilizing and revitalizing the party as the primary opposition in Nigeria.

Additionally, Ologunagba revealed that the motion for the Vote of Confidence on the Acting National Chairman was overseen by Taofeek Arapaja, the Deputy National Chairman (South). The motion was put forward by Chief Ali Odefa, the National Vice Chairman (South East), and seconded by Yayari Mohammed, the National Treasurer.

Concluding the statement, Ologunagba emphasized the NWC’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the persistent stability, growth, and prosperity of the party.
