According to JAMB, Candidates who get illegal admission should bear consequences

JAMB stated that individuals who opt for unethical admission methods should be prepared to face the repercussions, emphasizing that all tertiary institutions’ admissions must go through their processes.

This response was triggered by a query from a user requesting JAMB to streamline the admission regularization process for better efficiency.

In the post, Adenkule Adu @adu_adenkunke1 urged JAMB to enhance the regularization procedure on their portal to eliminate the need for physical visits to their offices.

Expressing frustration, @adu_adenkunke1 disclosed ongoing struggles with excuses from the state office despite persistent visits over several months.

“JAMB needs to enhance the admission regularization process and incorporate a more convenient portal for this purpose to avoid physical visits,” @adu_adenkunke1 wrote.

In response, JAMB suggested that discontinuing the regularization exercise altogether might be a better approach.

The Board’s message read: “Perhaps it’s best to halt the regularization exercise entirely.

“The guideline is straightforward – ‘All admissions for tertiary institutions must be channeled through JAMB…’

“Therefore, any candidate involved in fraudulent admission practices should face the consequences.

“How can one engage in illegal activities and still have the audacity to advise on the correction process? Please take note.”
