Former Liverpool star Steve Nicol believes that Victor Osimhen would make an excellent replacement for Mohamed Salah.
There are rumors that Salah may be targeted by clubs in the Saudi Pro League this summer, leading to speculation about his future with the Reds.
Last September, Al-Ittihad, the current champions of Saudi Arabia, reportedly offered £150 million for the Egyptian forward.
Now, reports suggest that another Saudi club, Al Hilal, is also showing interest in the former Chelsea player.
Nicol is advising his former club to sign Osimhen as a replacement for Salah.
Speaking to ESPN, Nicol said, “Whether Salah departs this year or the next, Osimhen could be a great addition to Liverpool.”
Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli, the current Serie A champions, this summer.
He has also been linked with other Premier League teams like Chelsea and Arsenal.
