Update on Oshiomhole’s Appeal Hearing Regarding Removal as APC National Chairman

Following the federal high court’s removal of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Court of Appeal in Abuja has deferred the hearing on his appeal.

In court today, on March 16, a panel of three Justices, led by Justice Stephen Adah, who were overseeing other cases, assured that a new panel would be constituted to consider Oshiomole’s appeal. This development came after the court had sent hearing notices to the involved parties in the appeal.

According to The Nation, shortly after the announcement, a court official informed the packed courtroom that a new panel would be established to hear Oshiomole’s appeal on a later date, which will be communicated to the parties at the appropriate time.

Addressing journalists after the announcement, Oshiomhole stated that he would await the court’s decision in the case.
