Rangers Defender Balogun Questionable for Crucial Celtic Clash

Prior to the upcoming match at Celtic Park, there are concerns regarding the fitness of Nigeria’s defender, Leon Balogun, for Rangers.

During the 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock last weekend, the 35-year-old was substituted at halftime.

Having just reclaimed his spot in the starting lineup following Connor Goldson’s season-ending injury, the center-back’s availability is in doubt.

Rangers’ manager, Phillipe Clement, mentioned that Balogun may not be fully fit for the critical title race confrontation.

“Leon Balogun’s participation is uncertain, with no new injuries reported or players coming back from injury,” he stated.

Rangers currently trail Celtic by three points in the Scottish Premiership standings.
