The NICA Executive Credit Programme Receives Praise from Business Leaders

Receiving high acclaim is the six-month mandatory Credit Management Academic Improvement Programme introduced by the National Institute of Credit Administration. The current stream 11th executive class, composed of top corporate and business leaders, who have been inducted through direct membership, have expressed their satisfaction with the programme.

In a statement released on Monday, the institute confirmed that the business executives were pleased with the MCMAIP programme.

NICA, which serves as Nigeria’s regulatory body for the credit management profession, saw the participants emphasizing the programme’s importance as an executive refresher course.

One participant mentioned, “This programme instills a sense that business is a fusion of internationalization and corporate elitism culture, reflecting superior governance attitude with behavior consistent with business management elites.”

The 11th stream executive class, aimed at establishing a solid executive foundation in credit management and general business governance, was hailed as the best of its kind by the class members.

Professor Chris Onalo, the driving force behind the MCMAIP, commented, “This mirrors the practices in advanced societies, a strong and influential instructor focusing on the well-being of corporate organizations, their executives, and the nation’s economy. MCMAIP boasts a distinguished credit management faculty,” Onalo added.
