The commencement of test runs for Redline Rail from Agbado to Iddo in seven days – Lagos Govt

A week-long test run for the Redline Rail from Agbado to Iddo will soon be initiated, as announced by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso.

Omotoso disclosed this information during a press briefing held on Thursday to mark the commencement of the 2024 Ministerial Press Briefing by the State’s Ministries, Directorates, and Agencies.

This annual program provides an opportunity for members of the State Executive Council to present reports on their performance to the people of Lagos.

Throughout the test run period, the train will be open to various groups and stakeholders who will have the chance to experience the service it offers.

Besides, plans are underway to enhance the connectivity of roads to the rail and ferry terminals to ensure seamless access to these transport modes.

Omotoso also mentioned that foreign investors are expected to arrive next week for discussions regarding the Fourth Mainland Bridge and the Lekki Airport developments, both of which are poised to revolutionize Lagos’ economy.

The developmental pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Agenda continues to be at the core of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Administration’s mission to provide Lagosians with the benefits of democracy.
