Wolves’ Squad Injured, Depleted Ahead of Arsenal Showdown in EPL

Concerns loom over Wolves’ team as they prepare to face Arsenal, with manager Gary O’Neil revealing that Rayan Ait-Nouri and Hwang Hee-chan may not be fit enough for the starting lineup.

Adding to their woes, Matheus Cunha, Pedro Neto, Nelson Semedo, and Craig Dawson are all sidelined due to injuries.

Arsenal, coming off a disappointing 2-0 loss to Aston Villa, are eager to turn things around against a Wolves team plagued by fitness issues.

O’Neil, speaking to the press on Friday, disclosed the challenges he faces: “I’ve got a limited pool of 10 senior outfield players available to start the match.”

Addressing Rayan’s status, he expressed optimism: “Rayan may make the bench. While he trained outside today and is in good spirits, he may not be able to sustain a full game.”

He added, “Perhaps he will at least be a part of the matchday squad.”
