Primate Ayodele’s Warning of Impending Climatic Crisis in Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, and Other States

On Friday, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, issued a grave warning to state governments about a looming disaster stemming from climatic issues.

He cautioned that Nigeria is on the verge of facing earth-shattering, devastating floods in various states such as Lagos, Abuja, Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Kogi, Edo, Adamawa, and Niger.

In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele emphasized that failure to take preventive action would force citizens to relocate to safer states.

He remarked: “Certain Nigerian states are at risk of experiencing seismic activities due to climatic conditions, leading to the possibility of widespread flooding.”

“While Nigeria has been grappling with floods, a more severe nationwide flood is imminent, particularly affecting states like Lagos, Abuja, Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Kogi, Edo, Adamawa, and Niger.”

“Unless the government intervenes, there may come a time when residents will be compelled to seek refuge in other states.”

“The situation could be catastrophic, necessitating urgent government action.”

Primate Ayodele also drew attention to the health ramifications of the impending disaster, warning that humans, animals, and plants would be at risk.

“This crisis could lead to crops failing to thrive and a surge in health issues,” he cautioned.

“The climatic conditions may trigger unusual health problems, early onset of menopause, waterborne diseases, and night blindness.”
