Protest in Abuja as Shiites Burn US Flag in Response to Iranian General’s Killing (See Photos)

Proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria, also known as Shiites, took to the streets of Abuja to demonstrate against the recent killing of Iranian military commander, General Qasem Soleimani, by a United States airstrike on January 3rd.   The protesting Shiites also used the opportunity to demand the release of their detained leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat.   Chanting hate songs and slogans such as "Death To America," the demonstrators also burned a US flag.   Below are more photos from the protest.

Reynhard Sinaga, a 36-year-old student from Indonesia, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the extensive sexual assault of at least 48 men whom he drugged and filmed in Manchester.   Reportedly, Sinaga abused approximately 195 men over two-and-a-half years by luring them to his flat under false pretenses, drugging them, and subsequently assaulting them while unconscious.   Described by Ian Rushton, the north-west deputy chief crown prosecutor, as the "most prolific rapist in British legal history," Sinaga committed 159 offenses, including 136 rapes, many of which were recorded on his mobile phones.
