Onyeonoziri Friday, a native doctor in Abia state, reportedly committed suicide in front of his home in Ukpakiri village in Amaise autonomous community in Obingwa Local Government Area, leaving behind a pregnant wife and a son. According to the state Commissioner of Police, Ene Okon, Onyeonoziri hung himself in front of his shrine, which is situated at the back of his residence. He had been struggling with various illnesses and became frustrated and depressed after all attempts to seek healing through sacrifices ended in failure.
