Lagos state government withdraws charges against Naira Marley, Gbadamosi

The Lagos state government has decided to drop the charges against Naira Marley and Babatunde Gbadamosi. Both men, along with Gbadamosi's wife, were brought before a Magistrate court in Ogba for violating social distancing regulations. Following their arraignment, one of the defense attorneys, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN), informed the media that the government opted to withdraw the charges after the singer and the politician agreed to apologize to President Muhammadu Buhari and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for disregarding the stay-at-home directive.
