After experiencing persistent Coronavirus symptoms, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to the hospital. The 55-year-old politician had previously shared his positive test result for COVID-19 and had been self-isolating at his residence in Downing Street for seven days.   A statement from his office today revealed that his doctor advised his admission. Salihu Umar, an employee of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, who took to Twitter to share his positive COVID-19 diagnosis, has provided an update.   On March 23rd, Umar revealed his positive test and his intention to seek treatment. His decision to openly acknowledge his infection was widely praised by Nigerians.   After nearly two weeks of treatment, Umar announced a favorable update. He disclosed that his latest test results have shown a negative result.   Umar mentioned that a second confirmatory test will be conducted within 48 hours to validate his negative status. Nigerians have been sending best wishes and prayers for his complete recovery.
