140 Lebanese citizens evacuated from Nigeria due to Coronavirus outbreak

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, the Lebanese government facilitated the evacuation of 140 Lebanese nationals through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.   After undergoing several screenings, the individuals were airlifted by Middle East Airlines (MEA) from the Lagos airport. The flight, operated under a humanitarian arrangement, departed the country on the evening of Sunday, April 5.   Additionally, 37 Egyptians were also evacuated today from the country via the Sam Mbakwe International Airport.
