Senator Jimoh Ibrahim urges Tinubu to disband cabinet

With a strong stance, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim representing Ondo South senatorial district, has advised President Bola Tinubu to promptly dissolve his current cabinet.

Expressing his opinion on Channels Television’s Politics Today show, Ibrahim, a member of the Senate’s Appropriation Committee, highlighted the lack of effectiveness within President Tinubu’s ministerial team.

In his words, Ibrahim emphasized the necessity for a revamped cabinet consisting of individuals with profound expertise, categorizing the current cabinet members as below par.

Citing the economic challenges faced by the nation during Tinubu’s tenure, Ibrahim stressed the need for a change, stating, “If the status quo remains, the burden will only escalate, to the detriment of our country. It’s imperative to introduce more capable individuals, as the current cabinet is inadequate. Moreover, those implicated in corruption scandals must be removed.”
