The first female Vice Chancellor appointed at NSUK

It has been announced that Nasarawa State University, Keffi, NSUK, has appointed its inaugural female Vice-Chancellor. Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, a distinguished professor of Islamic Studies, emerged as the chosen leader of the institution.

The disclosure was made public by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, on the recent Wednesday.

The appointment, as per the announcement, was sanctioned by Governor Abdullahi Sule after extensive deliberations and a meticulous evaluation of the recommendations from the Governing Council headed by Professor Attahiru Jega.

By virtue of his authority as the Visitor to the state-owned university, Governor Sule has officially endorsed Professor Liman’s appointment, slated to commence from the 15th of April, 2024.
