Amid the backlash faced by producer Adanma Luke over the recent tragic incident on her movie set where actor Junior Pope and three others lost their lives in a boat accident, Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo has come to her defense, stating that Luke is not as “careless” as many believe.
The incident occurred when the boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State as the cast and crew were returning from filming ‘The Other Side of Life.’
While some have criticized Luke for not providing life jackets, Ogbodo took to her Instagram to express her support for the producer, emphasizing that mistakes can happen even in the esteemed Hollywood industry.
Sharing a photo of Luke, Ogbodo described her as a strong, determined, kind-hearted woman, urging her to stay strong and assuring her of divine protection.
Addressing a commenter who cautioned her against getting involved in the controversy, Ogbodo defended Luke by stating, “She is not a careless producer, only mistakes happen, even on Hollywood sets.”
