Insight from Ex-Reps member, Nwuke on the Rising Support for Fubara in Rivers State

In a recent revelation, Ogbonna Nwuke, a former representative of the House of Representatives from Rivers State, shared his observations on the increasing support for Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Nwuke highlighted Fubara’s peaceful nature as a key factor attracting backing from various political entities and individuals.

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Nwuke, who served the Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency in the National Assembly from 2011 to 2015, emphasized that those aligning with Fubara are proponents of stability, progress, and harmony in Rivers State. He underscored the impossibility of having dual governance within a unified state.

“The desire for stability, progress, and peace in Rivers State is evident. It is a consensus that a state cannot function effectively with dual leadership. Upon thorough evaluation, our people have concluded that aligning with the interests in Abuja is acceptable for personal advancement,” Nwuke remarked.
