Afrobeats sensation, Tiwa Savage, has disclosed the catalyst that led her to pursue a career in music.
The artist behind ‘Koroba’ shared that while her initial aspiration was to act, her path shifted towards music because of a romantic interest she had at the time.
She explained that her crush frequently spent time with musicians, prompting her to abandon her original ambition in favor of a musical career.
Her revelation came during a recent interview with MTV.
Reflecting on her journey, Savage expressed, “Acting had always been a passion of mine before music. However, my venture into music was influenced by a romantic interest who was intertwined with the music scene, causing me to gravitate towards that path over acting.”
It’s worth noting that Tiwa Savage recently announced the upcoming release of her debut movie, ‘Water And Garri,’ scheduled to debut on May 10, 2024, via the esteemed global streaming platform, Prime Video.
