Fuel Scarcity Leads to Renewed Long Queues in Zamfara

In Zamfara State, a fuel scarcity situation has emerged, resulting in the closure of many filling stations.

An observation by NewsNow revealed that multiple filling stations in Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Tsafe, and surrounding areas were unable to dispense fuel.

The price of a liter of fuel has soared to a range of N800 to N850.

Attempts to get comments from some independent oil marketers were unsuccessful as they declined to speak on the matter.

Drivers and motorcyclists, in conversations with NewsNow, expressed disappointment at the reoccurrence of long queues at the filling stations.

One individual, Abubakar Tukur, stated, “We celebrated the disappearance of long queues at the filling stations, but the issue has resurfaced.”
