In a statement released on Thursday in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu conveyed his sympathies to the Eze family on the sad demise of Senator Ayogu Eze.
Sen. Ayogu Eze, who served as a Senator representing Enugu North Senatorial Zone from 2007 to 2015, was remembered for his various roles during his tenure, including serving as Committee Chairman on Information and Media and Chair of the Committee on Works.
Tinubu also offered his condolences to the late Senator’s friends, associates, former colleagues, and the National Assembly as a whole.
He further prayed that the departed soul may find rest with God and that comfort be granted to those who are grieving.
