France coach Didier Deschamps reveals reasons behind 2-0 loss to Germany

Didier Deschamps, the coach of France, has provided an explanation for the team’s 2-0 defeat against Germany in an international friendly match over the weekend.

Expressing his thoughts, Deschamps highlighted that his team lacked the same level of commitment and aggression displayed by the German squad during the game.

The victory for Germany came through goals from Florian Wirtz and Kai Havertz at the Groupama Stadium.

Deschamps reflected, “I believe we fell short. The necessary elements were missing.

“Regarding dedication and intensity, we did not match their performance,” he conveyed during the post-match interview.

France’s upcoming fixture will involve a match against Chile scheduled for Tuesday.
