Newly Elected NUJ State Exco in Abia Includes Ndukwe and Asonye


Chairing the Abia State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) is Comrade Victor Ndukwe, who has been reelected.

Joining Ndukwe in the newly inaugurated team are Chidi Asonye as the Vice Chairman, Ikechukwu Onuegbu as the Secretary, and Comrade Chibuzo Madukairo as the Financial Secretary.

During the inauguration event in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, the new council leaders were charged by the National Vice President of NUJ, South East Zone C, Comrade Emmanuel Ifesinachi, a representative of the national secretariat of the union, to prioritize the interests of their members.

The national vice chairman stressed the importance of peace and urged all union members in Abia State to collaborate with the newly inaugurated executive committee under the leadership of Comrade Victor Ndukwe for the advancement of the council.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated executive committee of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ndukwe affirmed their commitment to serving the council diligently. He also pledged to involve every member in all union activities in Abia State.
