In Ogun State, at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area, a landlord known as Adesina was arrested by police from Ajuwon Divisional Headquarters for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s daughter.
The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident and mentioned that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
According to reports, the 71-year-old landlord was caught engaging in sexual activity with the 14-year-old girl inside a bathroom.
Apparently, the minor went to the bathroom to shower, but the landlord rudely entered a few minutes later and allegedly assaulted her.
Some residents witnessed the act and subsequently led to his arrest.
It was later revealed that the girl was pregnant when her father took her to the hospital for a medical examination.
Omolola Odutola stated, “The landlord has been apprehended and is currently in custody. The father reported that he caught him in the act of molesting his 14-year-old daughter in their bathroom in the morning. The teenager underwent a medical examination at Tamara Hospital in Akute.”
“Tragically, the medical examination indicated that this was not an isolated incident as the test confirmed that the teenager was already six weeks pregnant. The State CID in Eleweran will soon proceed to investigate the matter further.”
