Feeling grateful – Cubana Chief Priest reflects on N10m bail requirement

Reacting to Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos State granting him bail, well-known celebrity socialite and barman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, shared his thoughts.

He had been charged by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, for three offenses related to mishandling the naira by allegedly spraying and manipulating it during a social gathering, going against the regulations of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

During the trial, Cubana Chief Priest entered a plea of not guilty to the claims of tampering with and misusing the naira.

A report by NewsNow earlier mentioned that Justice Ogundare set his bail at N10m and required two sureties with matching amounts.

Upon fulfilling the conditions for his bail, Chief Priest expressed his gratitude on Instagram with the words: “Feeling truly moved by all your messages and love. Now I can affirm that CP does not play small. Money is just like water”.
