Calling for Gareth Southgate to consider adding Marcus Rashford to the England squad for Euro 2024 is former Arsenal player Theo Walcott.
Rashford has faced challenges in his performance this season while playing under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
Having scored only seven goals in 31 appearances in the Premier League this season, the 26-year-old forward has encountered a tough period.
Walcott, speaking on TalkSPORT (as reported by TBR Football), expressed his support for Rashford’s inclusion in the national squad, saying, “Yes, I would. I believe people tend to overlook Rashford’s accomplishments with both the England team and Manchester United. He has delivered some remarkable performances.”
“During crucial moments, you must rely on your best players, and I believe he is someone who deserves a spot in the England lineup,” Walcott added.
