E-Money Steps Up to Support Junior Pope’s Children

Renowned entrepreneur and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has made a commitment to look after the children of the late Nollywood actor, Junior Pope.

Tragically, Junior Pope and three others lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film shoot.

Reflecting on the passing of the actor, E-Money revealed that Junior Pope’s main concern in his final moments was ensuring the future of his three sons.

He has now vowed to fulfill the actor’s wishes by taking on the responsibility of caring for his children.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, he conveyed, “It has been a week since you departed this world, leaving a deep sense of loss felt not just in our circles but also resonating across Africa and beyond.

“Your absence, both as a friend and a brother, is greatly felt, JP. We are saddened by the void your loss has left, but we find solace in the belief that God will give us the strength to move on and continue the legacy you left in our care.

“We fondly recall your last words on the boat, ‘I am the only one they have, I have 3 children and I will raise them,’ and we are committed to honoring that promise.

“Your children are now under the care of the Okonkwo family, and we, as part of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wanted. Your absence is deeply felt, JP, and your memory will forever be cherished. Rest in peace, knowing that you are loved, and may God’s blessings surround your spirit, your family, and all those who hold you dear.”
